EDM Group boosts supplier framework roster with new award for clinical and digital information systems from NHS London Procurement Partnership

4th July 2017

London, 4th July 2017 EDM Group, a leading provider of information and business process management technology and services, has announced that it has secured a place on the Clinical and Digital Information Systems (CDIS) Framework built and managed by NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP).

LPP is hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Its primary purpose is to provide procurement support to the NHS and the public sector. LPP has established the CDIS framework as a source of suitably experienced, capable, qualified and resourced suppliers available for use by NHS trusts, clinical commissioning groups, GP services and other health and social care providers within the UK and Northern Ireland, as well as local authorities and third sector organisations.

The aim of the CDIS Framework is to support collaboration amongst acute, mental health, community and primary care organisations and to make the most of its purchasing power to maximise investment in patient care. It has saved more than £1bn since 2006.

EDM Group was awarded a place on Lot 3.4 DMS 1 (storage), DMS 2 (scanning) and DMS 3 (managed services) within the CDIS Framework. It scored highly on all aspects of the assessment process and particularly highly on technical ability.

The award means that NHS trusts and other public sector organisations will be able to engage directly with EDM Group for its storage, scanning and EDM Online document hosting platform, or run mini competitions between approved suppliers selected for the framework.

Sam Ferguson, CEO and President, EDM Group, said: “We are delighted to be selected for the CDIS Framework and look forward to working with the organisations that choose to appoint us under this agreement. We have a long and successful track record spanning many years providing secure scanning, storage and hosting solutions to NHS trusts. We are committed to the ongoing development of new technologies that will help us to build ever more innovative solutions for our clients in the NHS and beyond.”
